A different direction today!

Motorcycles of Historic Importance

While not necessarily the best motorcycles or the most expensive, these are some of the most influential motorcycles ever built.

One of the more famous pictures in motorcycle history. Aboard the Vincent motorcycle owned by the California sportsman, John Edgar, this final run resulted in the most famous photograph in motorcycling, the "bathing suit bike" shot taken from a speeding car on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. Rollie lay flat out on the motorcycle wearing only a speedo bathing suit, shower cap and a pair of borrowed sneakers.

Interesting and Beautiful Motorcycles

This is a much more subjective category but it'd be hard to argue these aren't beautiful and interesting examples.

Evinrude 235hp 2stroke Motor - $750 (Edgewood, NM)

This 1982 Evinrude 235hp 2 stroke outboard motor is for parts or repair only. I say that is because I have not tried to start it in three years. I'd say it would fire right up. I have replaced the timing key, stator and trigger, two new power packs and rebuilt all three carbs. This is a 6 cylinder monster. This motor is NOT for the faint of heart. I had this on a 17 1/2 foot Cajun Bass boat and when you opened up the throttle, it became scary and my younger children started to cry. The guy I bought the boat from had a buddy who was a police officer clock him at 81 mph. So on the way home from the lake, wondering what to do with this boat/motor combination, I lost the boat cover and threw my hands up in the air and just bought a universal boat cover and parked it. Never looked back. If you're interested or have any questions, please email. When emailing please indicate: BOAT MOTOR in the subject line or email will not be opened. Thanks!

'69 El Camino 'SS' - $5500 (Sandia Park, NM)

'69 El Camino 'SS' model, original owner, title clean, original bill of sale, currently has 454 CID engine, ideal car for restoration project, has been sitting for several years, and engine needs to be services before starting, was running when parked, $5500 obo

1981 amc eagle - $150 (Moriarty)

Old car been parked in our yard since the shifter fell out about 7 years ago. Ran up to that point. Don't know if there is anything else wrong with it.
Doors a little hard to open. Inside is really dirty. Dash is cracked from sun, but seats look ok. We do have the title.

All but one tire holds are great. One will hold for a while, so long enough to haul away. You will need to come and haul away, cannot deliver. Please, I want this out of the yard before the baby comes and people are coming over more.
